How To Knit This Beach Hut Cushion Cover

Give your home a special update with this cute and colourful knitted cushion pattern. If you’re taken by the pretty beach huts when you stroll along the beach, then this is the perfect way to bring a bit of that nautical magic into your interiors.

Whether you want to brighten up a sofa or reading nook, add extra comfort to outdoor seating or make it as a gift, this knitted cushion pattern is a great make with a number of techniques.

From the textured roof to the colourful appliqué door and the i cord knitting edges, this is a special cushion that will impress.

As it’s shaped like a beach hut rather than a traditional square, this is best made with stuffing rather than putting on a pre-made cushion.

Our free knitting pattern will take you through the process step-by-step, with knitting techniques including stocking stitch featured in the pattern.

It’s a great cushion knitting project that will help you practice more advanced skills such as making an i-cord and more textured knits.
